Gun Buyers ClubSOUTH CHARLESTON, WV — The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR) hosted the 16th Annual West Virginia Archery in the Schools State Tournament in a virtual format from March 25-27.

Approximately 770 students from 51 schools participated in the competition. Each participant shot 30 arrows, 15 from 10 meters and 15 from 15 meters, with a maximum score of 300.

Gun Buyers ClubThe Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) is pleased to announce the Wetland Education Teacher Workshop (WETSHOP) 2021, a coastal awareness workshop for science, history, and social studies teachers. The workshop is scheduled for July 11-16, 2021 at the LDWF Grand Isle Research Lab. All COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.


The focus of this 6-day workshop is to provide teachers with an in-depth look at issues related to wetland ecology and coastal land loss in Louisiana.

Gun Buyers ClubMADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and neighboring state and federal agencies will conduct an intensive invasive carp removal effort in Pool 8 of the Mississippi River near La Crosse beginning April 5. The innovative Modified Unified Method (MUM) combines netting and herding techniques to drive and concentrate invasive carp from a large area of water into a small zone for removal.
