SOCIAL CIRCLE, Ga. – Deer, squirrel, turkey, quail, rabbit – all hunt-able species in Georgia. But, do you know how to hunt them? Georgia Hunt and Learn programs provide an educational experience targeted to those with little to no hunting experience, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division.

The Georgia Hunt and Learn programs provide exceptional instruction from qualified teachers. With workshops available for both adults and youth, participants will discover everything from the basics to learning how to care for harvested game. The weekend additionally provides guided hunt opportunities.

Hunt & Learn: We offer one to three-day Hunt and Learn programs that educate participants about hunting and conservation, along with an opportunity to hunt a specific game animal. Participants will have the chance to learn hunting tactics, game identification, and hunter safety from experts. Our Hunt and Learn courses are geared towards the new hunter that wants a safe and educational learning environment. Both youth and adult programs are available to accommodate a wide range of ages.

Half-Day 101 Courses: Can’t do a whole day? We also offer half-day “101” classes that have educational and live fire components focused on a specific game animal. Dates coming soon!
