CENTRAL POINT, Ore – Youth turkey hunters have a chance to win a one-day guided hunt (and an additional unguided day if needed) on the C2 Cattle Company Ranch during the April 10-11 Youth Turkey Weekend and the General Spring Turkey Season, April 15-May 31.

To be eligible, hunters must be 17 or under on the day of the hunt, have a valid hunting license and spring turkey tag. Youth hunters enrolled in the Mentored Youth Hunter Program can apply but cannot hunt youth weekend (April 10-11).

Deadline to apply is March 21 and winners will be notified by March 23. Six lucky youth hunters will have the opportunity to experience a turkey hunt on the 10,000-acre ranch just 25 minutes east of Medford.

The C2 Cattle Company offers this hunt in partnership with ODFW’s Access and Habitat Program and the Rogue Valley Chapter of the Oregon Hunters Association. C2 Ranch is a conservation-minded operation with a vision of preserving the land and natural resources, including wildlife, while running a working cattle ranch.

The C2 Ranch has been involved with ODFW’s Access and Habitat Program since 2007. The legislatively created program encourages private landowners to improve public hunting access and wildlife habitat on their lands.
