On Saturday, March 10th, the West Virginia Legislature adjourned sine die from the 2018 Legislative Session having passed Senate Bill 451 and House Bill 4187.  Both bills are currently on Governor Jim Justice’s desk awaiting his signature.  Please call Gov. Justice at 304-558-2000 and politely ask him to sign these bills into law.

On Monday, President Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) announced they are declaring bump stocks to be “machine guns” in order to ban them.

The NRA fully supports research, both private and public, which examines the root causes of violence in our communities. What we do not support is using tax dollars to promote gun control. The problem is not funding restriction, but researchers who are unable to drop their anti-gun bias long enough to examine this issue objectively.
