Too bad the deadly AR-15 semiautomatic rifle is not an export product of Mexico or Canada. Maybe then, President Donald Trump might muster the courage to ban it in the United States.
Instead, hatefully deranged Americans continue to employ the AR-15 for mass slaughters of innocent citizens at places like a Pittsburgh synagogue, a Las Vegas concert or a Florida school.
Worse yet, the AR-15’s repeated presence in such crimes is defended by the National Rifle Association and its political flunkies. Shame on them for so bending the Second Amendment and the spirit of the Constitution.
