County Commissioner and State Rep. Candidate Ron Beaty

We invited the two Republican candidates in the September 4th Primary for the 5th District State Representative seat to submit "Closing Statements".  Below is the statement by County Commissioner Ron Beaty, published verbatim:

I am a 57 year old native-born Cape Codder, who has been married for nearly 25 years to my wonderful wife, Chanda.

Relative to career, I have over 20 years experience in real estate management, and am a licensed real estate broker.

As for education, I have earned a Master of Science Degree in Administrative Studies from Boston College as well as a Master of Education Degeee from Lesley University.

Regarding the political and community realm, in 2016 I won election as a Barnstable County Commissioner representing 215,000 residents of Cape Cod.

In 2014, I was the Republican Nominee for Cape & Islands State Senator. I am a long-time Regional Community Activist on issues related to County Government, Cape Cod Commission, Regional wastewater problems. county budget, County restructuring proposals, and much more.

Additionally, I have been a local and regional government watchdog and open meeting law advocate.

Unlike my opponent, and as the only true Republican 5th District Barnstable District  State Representative Candidate, I stand for: Limited Government, Fiscal Responsibility, Lower Taxes, Transparency and Accountability, Protecting the Public Interest, Individual Liberty, and adherence to the U. S. Constitution.

I am a Conservative, staunchly Pro-Trump and Pro-Life Candidate who is running for this office because time and again my incumbent September 4th GOP Primary Election opponent has clearly shown himself to be a liberal Democrat masquerading as a Republican. Enough is enough!
