U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho's challenger in the GOP primary, Judson Sapp, has compared himself to the president and advocated to "build the wall."

President Donald Trump has offered up another endorsement for a Republican candidate over Twitter, this time for Florida congressman Ted Yoho.

Yoho, R-Gainesville, is seeking his fourth term in office and is facing challenger Judson Sapp in the Aug. 28 Republican primary.

“Congressman Ted Yoho of Florida is doing a fantastic job and has my complete and total Endorsement! Tough on Crime and Borders, Ted was really helpful on Tax Cuts. Vote all the way for Ted in the upcoming Primary - he will never let you down!” Trump wrote on Twitter at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Yoho responded back to the president from his personal account: "@realDonaldTrump Thank you Mr. President for your incredible endorsement! I look forward to continuing our important work together and #KeepingAmericaGreat! #VoteYoho."

Trump's tweet came an hour after he reiterated his plans to create a new military branch.

“Space Force all the way!” he wrote.

Trump has frequently endorsed Republican candidates over Twitter in hopes of having more conservatives in office. He also recently held a rally in Tampa where he endorsed U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis for governor of Florida.

Sapp recently released an advertisement where he compared himself to Trump as a conservative business man and advocated to "build the wall."
