Mississippi Legislature Reconvenes: Urge Your Senators To Take Action on State Firearms Preemption Improvement Bill

Back in March, before the legislative session was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mississippi House of Representatives had passed House Bill 1215, sponsored by Rep. Shane Barnett (R-Greene, Perry & Wayne Cos), by a vote of 81-36.  The Legislature reconvened on Tuesday, with the bill having been referred by Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann to the Senate Judiciary B and Senate Accountability, Efficiency and Transparency Committees.
