Free gun locks, safety resources donated to mayor’s gun safety initiative

NEWTOWN, Conn. – Project ChildSafe®, the firearms safety program of the National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), has provided 1,000 firearm safety kits and educational materials to assist Denver Mayor Michael Hancock’s new firearms safety initiative. The effort, which launched Feb. 1, focuses on promoting firearms safety throughout the Denver area.

LAS VEGAS — The Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade ShowSM (SHOT Show®), owned and operated by the National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), concluded its four-day run with attendees optimistic of building on last year’s increase in sales of industry products.
