NEWTOWN, Conn., and CUSICK, Wash. – The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association of the firearm industry, is pleased to announce that the Kalispel Tribe of Indians and its manufacturing company, Kalispel Case Line (KCL), have become a financial sponsor of NSSF’s Project ChildSafe® program. “The Kalispel Tribe has always prioritized the safety of children, and this is a commitment we take seriously, “ said Curt Holmes, General Manager of Public and Government Affairs for the Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority. “We know home defense is important, but so is firearm security, and we see that philosophy as a perfect match with the mission and work of NSSF and Project ChildSafe.” NSSF launched Project ChildSafe in 1999 as a nationwide initiative to promote firearms responsibility, provide safety education to all gun owners and help prevent firearm accidents, thefts and misuse.
