Team SIG Turns In Dominating Year for 2018

Newington, N.H.-(Ammoland.com)- SIG SAUER, Inc. congratulates Team SIG professional shooters, Max Michel, Lena Miculek, and Daniel Horner on dominating performances throughout the 2018 professional shooting season and for a record setting year.

In 2018, Team SIG Captain Max Michel had an exceptional year while choosing to focus primarily on Carry Optics competition. Max remained undefeated as the USPSA National Carry-Optics Champion for the third-year in a row, and set four new world records at the World Speed Shooting Championships in addition to taking home the “World Speed Shooting Champion” title. In 2018 Max earned a total of thirteen championship titles using his P320 XFIVE, ROMEO1 or ROMEO3 optic, and SIG SAUER 9mm Match Elite Pistol Competition Ammunition.

Team SIG Professional Shooter Lena Miculek proved to be a force in Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) competition. In 2018 Miculek earned seven “High Lady” titles in PCC, and an additional six “High Lady” titles in open and optics divisions. Following Miculek’s dominating performance at the USPSA Nationals, where she was the first female to earn a top five overall finish in PCC, she has since become the first female to earn Grandmaster Class for PCC. For the 2018 season, Miculek competed using a P320 XFIVE pistol, SIG MPX PCC, ROMEO3 Optic, and SIG SAUER 9mm Match Elite Pistol Competition Ammunition.

The newest member of Team SIG, Daniel Horner, joined Team SIG in September and earned a championship title in his first match representing Team SIG at the 2018 SIG SAUER Fort Benning Multi-Gun Challenge. Prior to joining Team SIG, Horner earned seven championship titles in 3-Gun competition as the Captain of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) in the 2018 competition year.
