DucksUnlimited Eastern Continental Shoot
This year Ducks Unlimited will host the Eatern Continental Shoot in Branson, MI.

BRANSON, MI -(AmmoLand.com)- May 15, 2020 – Ducks Unlimited will host its second annual Eastern Continental Shoot for competitive sporting clay shooters Sept. 16 through 20, at the world-class Bass Pro Shops Shooting Academy in Branson.

The shooting competition features thousands of dollars in prizes and is presented by Weatherby and Reeds Family Outdoor Outfitters. The Bass Pro Shops Shooting Academy offers a state-of-the-art shooting sports experience in front of the stunning backdrop of Table Rock Lake.

The Eastern Continental Shoot offers a 100-target prelim and 200-target main event, sub-gauge, and Super Sporting squad events and other regular events including 5-STAND and several other side games. All events are governed by National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) rules, but membership in the NSCA is not required to participate in this tournament.

The inaugural shoot in 2019 was a huge success, attracting 76 competitive shooters from 15 states to take part in the four-day event patterned after Ducks Unlimited’s popular Ducks in the Desert Las Vegas Continental Shoot, held each February for the past 34 years.

“Our Eastern Continental Shoot offers an incredible experience to shooters in a different part of the country and different time of year,” said Jim Konkel, chair of Ducks Unlimited’s National Shooting Committee. “The Branson event is a fun-filled, competitive shooting environment that complements our historic Las Vegas festivities.”

The Eastern Continental Shoot is limited to 250 participants. No refunds are allowed after Sept. 2. Major Sponsor Big Cedar Lodge and numerous other hotels are available in the area. All offer special rates for shooters, using code DUCKS20.

Event is subject to the COVID-19 health regulations as established by national, state, county
