New Jersey could require all handgun ammunition sales to be recorded and compel many people with firearms in the state to undergo regular safety training. Those are just a couple of new rules on guns proposed in four bills that have been introduced in the state legislature are intended to close loopholes and keep firearms out of the hands of people who aren’t supposed to have one, backers say.
