RALEIGH, N.C. — Enforcement officers with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for killing an alligator in Sunset Beach.

The male alligator was found dead at Twin Lakes, near Lakeshore Drive today by a Sunset Beach resident, who contacted Officer Matt Criscoe. The alligator measured 12 feet, 10 inches, and biologists estimate its age at more than 50 years old.

Gun Buyers ClubLouisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agents cited two Franklin Parish residents for multiple alleged deer violations including transporting deer carcasses into the state on March 14.

Agents cited Anthony P. Saucier, 34, and Natasha Martin, 37, both of Winnsboro, for illegal deer carcass importation, taking over the daily limit of deer and failing to comply with deer harvest requirements. Agents also cited Saucier for taking over the season limit of deer.

Honolulu – Two men from O‘ahu’s North Shore were cited yesterday by officers from the DLNR Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement (DOCARE), after they were allegedly caught picking ‘opihi in the Pūpūkea Marine Life Conservation District (MLCD). It is illegal to remove any marine life from an MLCD.

A group of South Mississippians believed to have killed nearly 100 turkeys during the 2019 season have been charged and arrested. These arrests follow an 11-month investigation by Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) Conservation Officers resulting in approximately 280 wildlife violations being issued to 14 different subjects.
