NSSF and NCPC’s McGruff® Animated Gun Safety Videos, Not Cool, Kyle and Molly’s Mischief, Named Bronze Telly Winners in Social Responsibility in Branded Content in The 40th Annual Telly Awards

NEWTOWN, Conn. – The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®) is pleased to announce its McGruff® on Gun Safety videos in partnership with the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC), Not Cool, Kyle[1] and Molly’s Mischief[2], have each been awarded Bronze Tellys in the Social Responsibility category for Branded Content in the 40th Annual Telly Awards. The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, production companies and including Vice, Vimeo, Hearst Digital Media, BuzzFeed and A&E Networks.

NSSF has partnered with NCPC to teach youth the importance of gun safety through two short videos featuring McGruff and his loveable nephew Scruff. In these videos, Scruff teaches his friends what to do if they find a gun or see someone bring a gun to school.
